Team info

U12 Bears

If your DOB falls between 1st September 2004 and 31st August 2005 then you may want to play for the Bears. (currently year 7)

We encourage every player to be creative and learn how to play as a team.

The team is led by Manager Martin Fahey, Assistant Mgr Laurence Chater and coach Graham Wilcox

We currently train on Thursdays at St George's College in Weybridge on floodlit artificial pitches - starting at 6:30 to 8pm each week.

We encourage playing football the "right way" - building up from the back through passing, one on one skills and team work.
Looking to develop each player allowing them to be confident on the ball.

If you think you have the skills, come along - its FREE for the first couple of sessions!

Bears team history under current manager:

U10's started in division 10 of the Epsom & Ewell league. The Bears had previously never won game before this season but through hard work and playing football we secured promotion by the end of the season. Helped by only losing 1 of our last 11 league games - winning 6 drawing 4.

U10 stats:
Played 27
Won 9
Drew 5
Lost 13
Scored an average of 2.2 per game
Conceded an average of 3.5 per game

U11 football we started in division 7 - and 9 a side which suited the Bears passing game on a bigger pitch. Helping us to secure a promotion at Xmas and another by the end of the season putting us in division 4 looking ahead to U12 football.

At U11 are stats for the season were:
Played 24
Won 15
Drew 2
Lost 7
Scored an average of 3.7 goals per game
Conceded an average of 1.9 per game

U12 - current season....we got to the QF of the cup and have only lost 3 games all season so far.
Played 21
Won 17
Drew 1
Lost 3

Scored 114 goals and conceded 32

Scoring 84 league goals whilst only conceding 20 putting us top of the table. (with a 1 or 2 games to play will we be crowned champions?)

As the stats and results described above show the Bears have improved season by season as we steadily climb up the league tables. The emphasis is on playing football in the correct manner - looking to pass rather than lump it.
